They live in the ocean, allowing the underwater ecosystem to thrive. And they live inside our bodies, helping us digest our food. Microbes are the unsung heroes of our planet. They are also the foundation for every cheese we make.


This knowledge and care is poured into every cheese we produce. Made without dairy, our cheeses are good for the Earth, good for the plants, good for the animals, and, most importantly, delicious for you.

We’ve dedicated years to studying the power of microbes in plant-based cheesemaking. Through methodical science and testing, we have developed a method of cheesemaking that embraces the science of microbial fermentation and the rich history of cheesemaking. Harnessing the power of microbes requires attention, observation and inspires constant learning. With time, patience and plenty of trial and error, we’ve created a set of signature recipes, each with its own distinct flavour profile. This is the marriage of science and art.
